Evidence policy
Last updated September 21, 2026.
WhoUsesThat helps readers discover business relationships and follow the evidence. A listing is not an endorsement, purchasing recommendation or guarantee that a relationship continues today.
Read the scope and source together
A customer logo, vendor case study, press release or procurement document can support different claims. A logo listing alone may not identify the legal entity, product, department, installation date or continued use. A dated project does not establish present use throughout an organization.
Relationship pages preserve citations, dates when recorded, evidence summaries and limitations. Consult the original source and the organizations involved before relying on a record for a business decision. A broken source link, older publication or disputed statement may require further review; none is silently converted into stronger evidence.
Labels are separate signals
Community-submitted and vendor-listed labels describe a record's origin or supporting material. Review status, scope and current-use status answer different questions. Read the explanation on the relationship page instead of assuming that a profile badge or a source count proves all aspects of a claim. More citations do not necessarily mean independent corroboration.
Claims and Premium do not buy verification
An approved profile claim authorizes a person to manage that company's profile. Premium pays for presentation and reporting features. Neither changes the factual evidence standard, confirms a company's current customers or permits editing another company's profile.
Company-authored case studies are that company's account of the relationship and are separate from the shared evidence record. Pinned relationships affect presentation on the company's own profile; they do not establish directory-wide ranking or factual verification.
Corrections and disputes
Use the relationship's correction/flag controls or contact us with its URL, the disputed statement and relevant evidence. Administrators review the scope and available sources and may amend or hide the record. A flag alone does not automatically hide it. Review is not a promise to resolve a commercial dispute or determine legal liability.
